Tokyo Laundry is a thriving established British fashion label selling quality men’s and women’s clothing through retail partnerships and direct to consumer through its Shopify website, originally built by Velstar in 2021.
Tokyo Laundry recently reached out to Velstar to support its ambitious online D2C targets and we commenced our partnership by managing their paid search (PPC) channels.
Tokyo Laundry challenged Velstar’s Performance Team to improve the efficiency of their current PPC campaigns and to obtain more sales from generic searches of clothing from the channel.
Velstar’s Performance Team got to work immediately, auditing and then reconfiguring the account. Key priorities included improving the data being fed to Google to enable advertising for more generic keywords like t-shirt or underwear and to generally improve the quality of product information used by Google Ads.
At the same time, the team gradually pivoted advertising spend from brand keywords to generic terms to reach new audiences and attract increased sales from the channel.
