Neom Wellbeing

NEOM Wellbeing is a multi-award winning, luxury brand that specialises in a range of holistic health and wellness products, from candles, diffusers and essential oils, to bath products, body and skincare.

NEOM helps its customers to prioritise self care by boosting moods, encouraging better sleep, reducing stress and more inspiring energy – all with a focus on the environment.

Challenge

With NEOM’s website driving nearly 50% of total sales, the project aimed to upgrade its D2C sites (US, EU, and UK) from Shopify 1.0 to 2.0. The focus was on delivering a mobile-first, best-in-class website with an optimised user experience and a refreshed visual design. We needed to work towards speed and performance improvements by using best-practice coding standards.

Solution

As part of the brand refresh, we created a completely bespoke Shopify store with an overarching goal to drive conversion, expand internationally and continue to build upon the brand’s fast-paced growth.

Key enhancements include a custom gift builder and a wellbeing & scent finder quiz, both integrated directly into the theme—eliminating third-party app costs. We also upgraded the checkout experience from ‘checkout liquid’ to “checkout extensibility”, integrating Ometria for email marketing and LoyaltyLion for customer engagement, ensuring a future-proof, high-performing ecommerce experience.

SEO auditing and research was conducted in parallel with the ongoing design and development work. This included a full content audit, site architecture review, keyword research, and metadata optimization. We conducted a technical SEO review, mapped redirects, implemented fixes, and performed go-live checks, ensuring a seamless transition with no ranking loss. A post-launch crawl verified all optimizations for sustained performance.
