From Magento to PWA:
How Williams Drove +46% Revenue and +41% Transactions

Williams was using an old version of the Magento platform which was coming to the end of its life, and they required a new, trade-only eCommerce store that would allow their customers to easily and quickly purchase products, create quotes and manage their account – whilst having the ability to seamlessly integrate with their existing ERP system, Kerridge.

We have developed a custom solution on the Peracto eCommerce platform which integrates with Kerridge. Customers have to be registered with Williams before they can see prices and purchase. 

The registration and onboarding process includes checks via an API with the Gas Safe Register for eligibility.  Once registered prices are retrieved dynamically from Kerridge upon logging in along with stock levels at different branches. Orders are passed through to Kerridge for processing.

In addition, account information such as invoices and statements are retrieved from Kerridge and displayed in the portal allowing tradesmen to see their outstanding credit, pay invoices online and bring their account up to date, in their own time.

In addition as a Progressive Web App (PWA), the new Peracto powered eCommerce store empowers Williams’ three Regional Fulfilment Centres (RFCs) to deliver online purchases to customers 7 days a week, 364 days a year, to increase online revenue and provide a better customer experience.
